I just looked it up for you. The answer is “c” the rights of those accused of crimes. “Gideon v. Wainwright” (1963) says that the states must provide free legal counsel to any person accused of a felony who cannot afford a lawyer. “Miranda v. Arizona” (1966) states that an accused person must be informed of his or her constitutional rights, including rights to remain silent and to have the assistance of a lawyer, before being questioned.
